One Month Campout for the Air Yeezy 2 Starts Now!

If you thought the one week campout for the Nike Foamposite “Galaxy” was crazy, this is absolutely insane.  Outside the Beverly Center’s House of Hoops, sneakerheads and hypebeasts have already started to lineup for the Nike Air Yeezy 2 expected to release April 13.  This may well be one of the biggest releases in shoe history.  Kanye West has tweeted himself that Nike will only let him make a sneaker every 2 years with his last release of the Nike Air Yeezy 1 being released in 2010.  Rumor has it that the Zen Grey colorway be the first to drop. Puma Suede “Year of the Dragon”

If you’re tired of all the themed “Year of the Dragon” footwear and appareal I would be lieing if I couldn’t relate.  Not quite sure how these Puma Suede even connect, but they’re still a “red” hot shoe.  The quilted suede and leather gives a great touch to a classic shoe.  I would throw the term “Year of the Dragon” out your mind if it bothers you and grab you a pair.

Nike Air Force 1 x Foamposite Holiday 2012

During the 2012 Holidays we will see the Nike Air Force 1 with the Foamposite application in 2 colorways for the part of XXX Celebration.  With the recent influx of sneakerheads on the Foamposite bandwagon, I’m sure these will sell out as well.  As a PSA to Nike, please slow down with the Foamposite madness and  over saturate the market.  Let us know what you think about these.  Stay tuned for updates on these.

Air Jordan 5 “Red Tails” Sample

As Black History Month is coming to a close  Jordan Brand auctioned off this Tuskegee Airmen themed Air Jordan 5.  The movie “Red Tails” stirred up tons of controversy in Hollywood and we’re sure whoever gets their hands on these 1 of 1 shoes is sure to start a conversation in themselves.  Combining Black History and sneaker culture has been heavy this year and we think it’s a good look.  Keep it up sportswear companies even if you’re doing it for revenue.

Air Jordan 5 “Grapes” Face Off (Actor’s Edition)

With the most recent release being in 2006, rumors spread last year for the return of the AJ5 “Grapes”, but to no avail the high anticipated sneaker never dropped.  Passport Paper decided to take a trip down memory lane to see who originally sported the shoe the best.  Hopefully after our post of homage the Jordan Brand will provide us with a release date (wishful thinking).  Check out “Air Jordan 5 “Grape Face Off” amongst 3 actors and let us know who wore them the best.

Christian Louboutin Golfito Wingtip Sneaker

Christian Louboutin gives us a more subtle feel with the Golfito from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.  Compared to the spikes and wild colorways seen in recent models, this pair of footwear doesn’t scream for attention.  We look forward to seeing more solid footwear from Christian Louboutin in the future.  Another colorway after the jump.

Yeezy 2 “Zen Grey”

Happy President’s Day!!!! Hopefully you were fortunate enough to have off.  To add on to a day leisure we would like to add to pleasure the debut of the Yeezy 2 “Zen Grey”.  Kanye was caught at London Fashion Week rocking the Zen Grey colorway.  With release rumors for next month every sneakerhead across the globe is anxiously waiting.  More pics after the jump.

EWING Brand is Back!!!

Everybody loves a comeback and this one comes with perfect timing.  The Ewing brand has decided to re-launch Ewing Athletics this summer.  With Jeremy Lin putting the Knicks back on the map, it’s no better time for the NY Knicks Alum, Pat Ewing to cash in on the Linsanity.  Too bad they couldn’t drop before All-Star Weekend, but indeed this will be a hot summer in Sneakerville.
